Colloquium Seminar for LPDP Scholarship Recipient Students in the Masters Program in Animal Science FPP UNDIP

The Masters in Animal Science Masters Program is one of the study programs at the Faculty of Animal Husbandry and Agriculture UNDIP which prioritizes a research culture to produce findings that contribute to science and solutions to problems in the livestock sector in society. To ensure the quality and up-to-date research for students of the MIT UNDIP Masters Program, a research proposal seminar (colloquium) is an activity that must be carried out before carrying out research in the laboratory or in the field. The colloquium seminar begins with the presentation of proposals by students who carry out the seminar, then it is continued with discussions/discussions by students. The next session is a discussion with two examiners. Discussions with both students and lecturers are expected to provide input or suggestions for improvements regarding the concepts and research methods to be carried out.

On Tuesday, January 17 2023, one of the MIT UNDIP Masters Program students receiving LPDP scholarships, namely Aldila Nugrahaini Sempana, held a colloquium seminar in a hybrid manner (attended by lecturers and students in class and online) with the title “Utilization of Energy and Protein in Sapera Goats who were given the addition of Kaliandra at a different level.” The colloquium seminar was attended by student colleagues and the Dean of FPP UNDIP Prof. Dr. Ir. Bambang Waluyo H.E.P., M.S., M.Agr., IPU. and Prof. Dr. Ir. Sri Mukodiningsih, M.S. as examiner lecturer at the colloquium seminar activity. With guidance from Dr. Ir. Limbang K. Nuswantara, S.Pt., M.P., IPU. and Dr. Ir. Marry Christiyanto, M.P., IPM., research conducted by Aldila Nugrahaini Sempana is expected to contribute to feed problems that are often faced by ruminant breeders in Indonesia. As a student receiving an LPDP scholarship, Aldila Nugrahaini Sempana is also expected to contribute positively to the development of science and technology in Indonesia in general.
